here's another compilation for you.
a long time coming but, well, i've been busy - i do have a life you know ;)
so this latest compilation collects together a few things mentioned in the blog so far and a bunch of stuff that'll be mentioned later on.
all the songs span the late 80's and into the mid 90's.
there's nothing connecting them other than it's all stuff that i like a lot.

the ranger is from "birds with teeth", hangman records (hang36up, 1990).

This is a wonderful mix. I've fallen in love with several songs here, in particular: Crabstick, W.H.I.N.E.. God Is My Copilot and the Julian Cope track. Just curious, have any info on W.H.I.N.E. and Crabstick? Can't find much about them although I think I read one of them has a Cannane's connection. I think 555 put out something by one of these bands, maybe on a comp or split. Doesn't W.H.I.N.E. sound a little Art Brutish? I googled the two to see if there was any connection, but couldn't find one.

Crabstick include David Nichols of Cannanes fame.
W.H.I.N.E. are various people from Gag and other Flitwick Records types. The WHINE thing is from about '93 so predates Art Brut by about 10 years.
